HI, MY NAME IS TOBIAS DIETZ ...
“...I found my way into dog training through training and raising my own dog. After successfully completing my dog trainer certification at the ‘Animal Welfare-Compliant Training and Competence Center Munich,’ I founded hundsfrech Dog Training in Munich in April 2021 and, at the same time, began working as a dog trainer for the Munich/Riem Animal Shelter. Molossers, livestock guardian dogs, and dogs with challenging temperaments—who require a great deal of empathy, expertise, patience, and dedication in training and socialization—have particularly inspired me from the very beginning. Even during my training, I had the opportunity to work with many different dog personalities and breeds, and by training shelter dogs and working with many wonderful private clients, I was able to further expand my wealth of experience. In February 2022, I became a partner at a renowned dog training school in Munich, where I took on many training responsibilities. During this time, I have continued to develop my skills and remain open to new, challenging, and exciting tasks involving dogs and their owners."

INITIAL CONSULTATION / HISTORY INTERVIEW
During the initial consultation/intake interview, we’ll get to know each other in person. I’ll take plenty of time to focus on you and your dog(s) in detail. I’ll provide you with an honest assessment of your dog(s) and create a personalized training plan tailored to your needs, with realistic goals. Afterward, we’ll start training right away, and you’ll be able to integrate the training plan directly into your daily routine.
FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENT FOR INDIVIDUAL TRAINING
At a follow-up appointment, after we’ve gone over your history, we’ll put your training plan into action. We’ll discuss each step of the training in detail, and through hands-on exercises, you’ll learn to confidently handle everyday situations. Whether it involves encounters with other dogs or tools for keeping your dog engaged and active, I’ll explain the next steps so you can train effectively until our next appointment.

DETECTION INDIVIDUAL TRAINING
Individual training for object and scent detection is not only a great way to get started in nose work, but also ideal for training in specific contexts or when class schedules don’t work for you.
TEAM TRAINING
In team training, you have the opportunity to train alongside another human-dog team. As a team, we practice basic skills such as leash walking, recall, and blanket training, or we work on exercise and mental stimulation. The focus can also be on socializing the dogs for working together in an office, going on walks together, or preparing for the arrival of a new dog.
HOME VISIT
Dogs often behave differently at home (in their familiar surroundings) than they do in an unfamiliar environment or at the training grounds. During a home visit, I’ll analyze your dog’s behavior and the triggers that cause it, and we’ll develop a personalized training plan for you. Depending on your specific concerns, training goals, or your dog’s current training level, I recommend a home visit so I can get to know your dog and train him in his familiar environment.

PHONE & VIDEO CONSULTATIONS

GROUP TRAINING
OBJECT & SCENT DETECTION
The most challenging form of nose work: recognizing a specific scent pattern! Our dogs’ superpower is their sense of smell. They assess their environment largely through their sense of smell and have the ability to detect the tiniest scent particles and distinguish between the subtlest scent nuances. Over the course of their lives, they build up a kind of “scent database” and remember scents they’ve encountered before. Nose work is suitable for every dog, whether young or old. It promotes concentration and cooperation with humans. Any human-dog team looking for a challenging and fulfilling hobby is warmly invited to participate in this module.
DAILY TRAINING
A group class for young and adult dogs featuring a practical and flexible curriculum in a small group setting. We’ll work on your dog’s basic obedience, impulse control, and frustration tolerance, and visit various locations such as wildlife parks, public transportation, or the home improvement store. Course Content: - Basic obedience - Tools for exercise and mental stimulation - Impulse control training - Frustration tolerance training - Socialization training - Various locations Please note: Participation is only possible after an introductory meeting.
START YOUR DAY RELAXED
A group walk in a small, friendly group to escape the stress of everyday life for a few minutes. Course Content: - Reinforcing and expanding on commands already learned - Everyday situations - Q&A session Please note! Participation is only possible after an introductory meeting.

In the “Meet & Greet” course, I’ll teach you how to guide your dog during encounters with other dogs, under what conditions you can allow your dog to interact with others, and how you should behave in these situations. You’ll learn when and how to take control—or, conversely, when to consciously relinquish it. (A one-on-one lesson or training walk is a prerequisite for participation.) The course includes: Dog encounters & contact with appropriate leadership structures / Management and genuine control by the owner
MEET & GREET WALK
During the Meet & Greet Walk, we’ll go for a walk together and practice dog encounters and socialization. You’ll gain more confidence and develop a routine in your daily life, allowing you to handle future encounters with greater poise. Please note! Participation is only possible after an introductory meeting.
WORKSHOPS & EVENTS
NOSE WORK WORKSHOP
A three-hour workshop on object and scent detection for beginners and advanced participants. The workshop is suitable for all interested beginners whose dogs can be motivated with food or toys. As a supplement to the course, advanced participants can reinforce and further develop what they have learned. Required equipment: - Collar - Leash (1 to 3 meters) - Treats/toys
MEET & GREET WORKSHOP
In the Meet & Greet Workshop, we analyze your dog’s social behavior toward other dogs. I’ll teach you how to guide your dog through encounters with other dogs, under what conditions you can allow your dog to interact with others, and how you should behave during these interactions. You’ll learn when and how to take control or, conversely, consciously relinquish it. (Prerequisites include prior positive muzzle training and a healthy dog.) HIKING DAY AT SCHWARZEN-TENN ALM
I cordially invite you to a beautiful and exciting hike on the Kranzberg. The hike will take us to fantastic viewpoints and lovely lakes that are perfect for relaxing and having a picnic. After about 4 hours of hiking, we’ll return together to the starting point. Requirements: - Good physical condition for both you and your dog - Sure-footedness and sturdy footwear - Your dog must be able to walk on a leash and come when called
HIKING DAY AT HEUBERG
I cordially invite you to our first hiking day of the year. We’ll take an easy hike for people and dogs, with everyone walking at their own pace toward our shared destination: the Heuberg. Following forest roads and wide hiking trails, we’ll first head to the Daffnerwaldalmen and later to two mountain huts that serve food and drinks. On the alpine meadows, we can refuel with a group picnic or enjoy a snack at one of the huts. Once we’ve regained our strength, we’ll head back together, and anyone who’d like to can tackle the climb to the Heuberg summit cross. Because it’s an easy hike, the tour is also suitable for young dogs and senior dogs. You’ll need: - Weather-appropriate shoes and clothing - Supplies for your dog - Food and drinks for you and your dog - Change for the parking ticket
ST. MARTIN'S WALK AT CAMPEON
I cordially invite you to join us for a St. Martin’s Day parade. In keeping with the St. Martin’s Day tradition, you can dress your dog up with “lanterns,” and then we’ll set off. At the end, a little surprise will be waiting for you and your dog.
